"I always like the feeling when I submerge myself in water and keep my face above water, I can clearly hear my own breathing and heartbeats besides the sound of the water. It feels like I can actually press the pause button and shield myself from the rest of the world. With this peace in mind and my body resting in the water, my thought became clearer and finally I can figure out the next move. 

P.S. This was really drawn from my personal experience when floating and fully relaxed in the water by the beach. I loved looking at the sky with my ears below water that made me feels like I’m fully isolated from the rest of the world and finally calm down. This scent has an unique tranquil feel to it and reminds me of that special yet pure moment I had."

Scent Description

This is an aquatic fragrance that feels like waking up from a chaotic dream. The initial scent is a misty blend of multiple floral notes, including hyacinth, peony, lily, and jasmine. The middle notes bring out the sweet and sour berry notes of blackcurrant and fresh orange. The base notes finish with fresh cedar, earthy patchouli mixed with cool grassy scents of eucalyptus and seaweed.

Velvet Formula

“Velvet” is our premium soap base in LAXO series, using nutritious goose fat combined with vegan oils such as camellia oil, shea butter, castor oil, and silk protein extract as main ingredients. Only about 50 to 70 ml of goose fat can be extracted from a single goose, making it extremely precious. Goose fat is rich in unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9) and oleic acid content of up to 53.5% is very close to virgin olive oil, it’s also recommended by World Health Organization (WHO) as the No.1 cooking oil. Goose fat is rich in Vitamin E which provides antioxidant and anti-aging benefits, significantly improves dry skin and makes it softer and smoother. Which is why goose fat is often added to skincare products and facial masks. Goose fat also has a distinctive savory aroma, requiring several refining and purification processes to remove the savory smell for making shave soap. 

“Velvet” formula is extremely easy to lather, the dense & creamy lather resembling the fine fresh snow in early winter. If you whipped for over one minute, the lather becomes thicker almost like mashed potatoes. Goose fat has the skin-friendly properties which allows the soap film stays firmly on skin, providing excellent protection. The silky soap film also allows the blade glides smooth & effortlessly like ice skating, dolphin smooth result will definitely put a smile on your face. 

Excellent post-shave feels with moisturizing and hydrating effects which is even better than our beef tallow soaps. Combining goose fat, camellia oil & silk protein make your facial skin feels soft and refreshing. This nourishing shave soap is highly recommended for people with dry skin and used in autumn and winter seasons.

Product features

LAXO tallow soaps can easily produce thick creamy foam with bouncy cushioning in a very short time. The silky-smooth soap film provides excellent lubrication and protection let's you glide all over your face with confidence and joy. There are many benefits of beef tallow such as moisturizing, soothing, repairing and anti-aging. Combining Shea butter and sweet almond oil for their excellent antioxidant and nourishing properties to significantly improve the skin quality.

Their tallow soap recipe has fantastic hydration and post shave effect.  No tightness at all after drying your face, which is why some of their customers even quit using aftershave balm. The refined golden jojoba oil has the property of small molecules that can be easily absorbed by skin. It also enhances the smoothness of the skin and form a protection with amazing deep hydration effect. It will continue moisturizing for several hours after washing and make the skin feel smooth and elastic.

Their entire line of shaving soaps are made using the authentic double-alkali heat process with natural plant and animal fats. Through their proprietary ingredient ratio and sophisticated hand-making techniques, each shaving soap is crafted in small batches, resulting in exceptional performance in terms of lathering power, foam support, smooth, protective film, and moisturizing properties, rivaling even high-priced imported soaps.

Each fragrance in the LAXO series is made of natural essential oils or imported fragrances certified by IFRA internationally. The goal is to create a distinct sense of identity and bring local olfactory memories into the shaving soap. Fruity notes such as red guava, Kyoho grape, pineapple, kumquat, etc. are blended into the shaving soap. Combined with the ingenious naming and situational cover, it creates an atmosphere and aesthetic that is completely different from European and American soaps.
