🚚 Shipping Policy

Hey there! I know shipping info can be a bit dry (and sometimes frustrating), but I believe in being 100% transparent with you — especially since shipping is one of the trickiest parts of running a small online business.

I’ve broken everything down by region to make things easy: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, USA, and International.

As both a small business owner and a fellow wet shaving enthusiast, I totally get that high shipping fees are annoying. I’ve done everything I can to keep your costs low and your experience smooth.


📦 Order Fulfillment

I usually ship or deliver orders within 1–2 business days, but please allow up to 3–5 business days just in case.

Sometimes my “real” job takes me away from home. If I’m out of town, I’ll post a “Gone Flying” notice on the homepage and/or contact you directly.


📍 Shipping by Region

Winnipeg & Nearby (within 20km)

  • FREE delivery on orders over $25 CAD

  • Orders under $25: $5 delivery fee

  • Deliveries happen 1–2 times per week, based on my schedule

  • I try to deliver personally! Otherwise, I may use Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, UPS, Canpar, or Trexity (no extra cost to you)

  • You’ll get an email notification when your order is delivered

  • Packages may be left in your mailbox, between doors, or on your front step — let me know if you have a preference!

  • Heads-up: I can’t be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they’re delivered

  • No delivery to PO Boxes in Winnipeg — contact me for alternate options


Manitoba (Outside Winnipeg)

  • FREE shipping on orders over $50 CAD (after discounts)

  • Under $50? Shipping via Canada Post (or a cheaper option if I find one — and I’ll refund the difference!)

  • PO Boxes are discouraged due to higher rates


Rest of Canada

  • FREE shipping on orders over $75 CAD (after discounts)

  • Orders under $75: Shipping is calculated at checkout

  • I’ll use the most cost-effective (but still reliable) courier

  • PO Boxes are discouraged due to higher rates


Shipping to the USA (Temporarily Suspended)

As of August 29, 2025, U.S. customs regulations now require prepaid duties, which Shopify doesn’t currently support. Sadly, I’ve had to pause U.S. shipping for now.

Once a solution becomes available, I’ll resume service — and I really appreciate your patience and support.

Previously:

  • Free shipping on orders over $75 CAD

  • No shipping of aftershaves/colognes (due to alcohol restrictions)

  • Tracking/insurance only included if upgraded

  • $5 restocking fee for alcohol-related partial refunds


🌍 International Shipping

Yes, I ship internationally! But please read carefully before ordering:

  • You’re responsible for all duties, VAT, and brokerage fees

  • I can’t under-declare values on customs forms — no exceptions

  • No shipping of products containing alcohol (aftershaves, colognes)

  • If your order needs a refund due to alcohol restrictions, a $5 restocking fee applies

  • Shipping via Canada Post (Air, Surface, etc.)

  • Some options don’t include tracking or insurance — upgrade at checkout if that’s important to you

  • Surface Mail can take 20–60 business days (yes, it’s slow!)


⚠️ Important Notes for International Orders

  • Invoices to EU countries will say:
    "Delivered at place (DAP)."
    You’re responsible for any import fees or taxes when your order arrives.

  • I do not collect or remit VAT

  • If your order is refused, unclaimed, or returned by customs, it won’t be refunded or re-shipped — please order carefully


🌱 Packaging

I try to keep things eco-friendly! I use recycled materials when possible.
Bottle caps may be taped to help prevent leaks during shipping.
