Shipping


I try very hard to ship or deliver orders within 3-5 business days from the date the order is placed.  

My "real" job often takes me away from home sometimes, so if I know that orders might get shipped later than I would like, I normally post a message on our homepage and/or notify the customers individually. 

As an online store owner, and a wet shaving enthusiast myself,  shipping is one of my most challenging expenses to deal with.  It's one of those things I can't control.  I'm sure you agree it's a royal pain in the butt.

*NEW*  We offer FREE Shipping/Delivery in Winnipeg and within a 20KM radius from our location on orders over $25.00.   (Orders less than $25 will include a $5 delivery fee).

YES! We do offer free shipping within Canada and the USA when customers reach the MINIMUM spend.

Winnipeg

***NEW*** Deliveries will happen 1-2 times a week.  This is dependant on my work schedule.  Every effort will be made to communicate the delivery schedule to customers via our home page, social media, emails (or some combination of all 3).    

For deliveries in Winnipeg (and a 20 km radius from our location) I try and deliver your order personally.   Not all orders fit into a mailbox and so sometimes I'll contact you to make alternate arrangements.  Orders are sometimes shipped within Winnipeg and surrounding areas (depending on location) using Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx or Canpar (no additional cost to you).  

Once an order is delivered (by me) I will send an automated email confirming delivery.  Items might be left in a mail box, between doors or on the front step- depending on the size of the order.  If you have concerns about this- please let me know so we can make alternate arrangements for delivery.  I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to an order such as theft or intentional damage once it is on the property of the customer or the shipping address.   I offer free delivery on orders over $25.00.  Otherwise there's a $5 delivery fee.

Please Note: At this time I am unable to ship to P.O. Boxes in Winnipeg.  Please email us for alternate arrangements.

Manitoba

I offer FREE shipping with a minimum order of $50.00 or more (after discount). 

Orders under $50.00 usually ship via Canada Post.  If I can find a cheaper alternative, I will ship using a different carrier and I will refund you the difference.   I prefer not to ship to PO Boxes as the costs are generally more expensive.

Shipping in Canada

(excludes Manitoba)

Orders $75.00 and over (after discount) receive free shipping anywhere in Canada. 

Orders $74.99 CDN and under (excludes Manitoba)  pay calculated shipping at checkout.

Shipping to USA 

Orders over $75.00 CDN (after discount) receive free shipping anywhere in the USA. 

This option DOES NOT include Tracking or Insurance if it is classified as small packet.   Large orders (weight/volume) will normally include tracking if it exceeds the small packet volume/weight allowance. This is an automated feature that I do not control.

 Orders $74.99 CDN and under pay calculated shipping at checkout. 

These parcels DO NOT include tracking- I am NOT responsible for them once the post office receives them.  Standard travel time from the date the order is shipped is usually 10-14 business days (excl weekends and holidays) and does NOT include time held in customs.  

Please note that I am unable to ship products containing alcohol (i.e- aftershaves or colognes).  Orders that have to be partially refunded for this reason are subject to a $5.00 restocking fee.

The customer is responsible for any Customs Duty or Taxes associated with the order when it is received.

I will not declare a lower value or declare items as a gift or sample.

Shipping Overseas

I use Canada Post for all of my international orders. 

Shipping prices vary, as does the method in which parcels are shipped (Air, Surface, etc.).  Please make note with your preferred choice at the time of checkout as ALL DO NOT include tracking.  

Please be advised that Canada Post has declared on their website that further delays may be observed and to expect shipping times of up to 90 business days (and possibly exceeding in a few cases) for a parcel to arrive (excluding statutory holidays, weekends, customs clearance, etc.). 

Please note that we are not able to ship products containing alcohol (i.e- aftershaves or colognes).  Orders that have to be partially refunded for this reason are subject to a $5.00 restocking fee.

Orders that are refused/unclaimed by customer's at the final destination are not eligible for return/refund/exchange. Please note that any additional fees, customs, duties, VAT or otherwise are the responsibility of the customer and the country in which they reside. A customer who refuses a package upon delivery for ANY reason, waives their right to any refund or compensation.  We are unable to ship the same package back to you -- you would have to make a repeat purchase of the same items (with additional shipping fees). Please note this when placing your order.

There is NO insurance coverage for lost packages without tracking.  

Please note that we are not able to ship products containing alcohol trans-border or overseas (i.e- colognes).  We cannot ship banned cosmetics listed by the EU.  If we have to partially refund an order for this reason, you may be charged a $5.00 restocking fee.

I use a variety of recycled materials to ship your orders and keep the products safe during transit.  Some bottle caps will be wrapped in tape to protect the integrity of the product during shipping or deliveries.

I will always do my best to make sure you get your order as soon as possible.
