Astra Blades get good reviews. So what is the difference between the Green and the Blue? The Green blades are advertised as Platinum coated versus the Blue blades which are Stainless. Though that probably doesn't help you decide.
Often people comment how the stainless blades (Astra Blue) have a sharper feel to them while the Platinum (Astra Green) have a smoother feel.
While everyone's experience will vary, for the novice shaver, I would recommend the Astra Green, and then as your experience and comfort level grows, to try the Astra Blue.
