Due to the nature of enamel products, the surface of each mug will differ slightly. You may notice tiny lumps and bumps in some mugs and the occasional small blemish, mark and scratch- particularly around the lip. The lip on the mug is carefully rolled during production to give a nice smooth feel and a classic look. This is the nature of enamel mugs and adds to its rustic look.

A little small if you're using a short brush (like I am), I'm planning to pick up the ribbed stoneware mug and will use this for soaking my brush. Or maybe I get a longer brush :)
