Flor de Dragones was born in a place that shouldn’t exist, an ancient canyon where the cliffs burn red, the sky turns violet, and the wind moves like something alive.
The first breath is pure desert morning: pink grapefruit and bergamot, bright, crisp, cutting clean, finished with a clean soapy sparkle like fresh steel and cold water.
But as the heat rises, the myth steps closer.
A forbidden bloom opens in the distance: velvet rose wrapped in clean florals, laced with rum sweetness and a gentle spice that pulls you in without asking.
Then the shadow passes overhead.
The drydown is where the legend lives, oud rolling in dark and smoky, suede leather soft but dangerous, grounded by earthy patchouli and glowing with ambered woods. Musk hums beneath it all, while warm tonka-oak lingers like the last light on canyon stone.

Flor de Dragones is their own original scent, created from the ground up in collaboration with the hosts of Shave Masters—Douglas Embry, John Bonham, and Barry Bedford (A Texan Shaves).

This version of our alcohol-free based aftershave (Witch Hazel) is less sticky and has a lighter, powdery post-shave feel.
The moisturizing properties of this version have been significantly improved and feel more balanced. This formula boasts enhanced transparency, thanks to the inclusion of PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, a premium emulsifier that ensures a perfectly blended and stable solution. We’ve also infused this version with Chamomilla Recutita Flower Water, derived from the dried flowers of the chamomile plant (Chamomilla recutita). Renowned for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and skin-calming properties, chamomile extract contains powerful bioactive compounds like chamazulene and bisabolol, which help reduce redness and irritation—making it ideal for sensitive and post-shave skin.
Additionally, the moisturizing properties of Tesseract (4,2,5) have been significantly enhanced, delivering a smoother, more balanced post-shave feel.
HAGS alcohol-free based Aftershaves (Witch Hazel) are the perfect post shave skin food. With added Sodium Hyaluronate and Allantoin (Comfrey Plant) they are easily absorbed leaving your skin feeling smooth, hydrated and silky.
How to Use:
- Shake well before use.
- Dispense 5–7 drops into the palm of your hand.
- Rub your hands together and apply evenly to freshly shaved skin.
- Allow it to dry for a few seconds before applying any additional skincare products.

Dimitrios Charokopos: Founder & Artisan
Dimitrios Charokopos, the founder and creative force behind HAGS Artisan Shaving Products, was born in Fremont, California, USA. Later, he moved to Greece with his family, where his passions and artistic influences took shape.
From a young age, music was his primary passion. A skilled guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, he dedicated much of his early life to performing and composing music in various bands. Alongside music, he developed a deep appreciation for horror films—particularly 1980s cult classics and psychological thrillers. His fascination with the genre began at the age of five after watching Michael Jackson’s Thriller music video on MTV, sparking a lifelong interest in horror cinema and grotesque art.
Dimitrios’ artistic influences extend beyond film. His love for grotesque art—encompassing paintings, movies, music, and theater—plays a significant role in his branding and product design. Each HAGS product label reflects his unique artistic vision, blending dark aesthetics with creative storytelling.
Beyond his work in men’s grooming, Dimitrios also has a passion for craftsmanship, particularly in building handcrafted guitars and basses.
The Birth of HAGS Artisan Shaving Products
The inspiration for HAGS came unexpectedly in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. After years of sporting facial hair, Dimitrios decided to shave. However, using a commercial foam and a standard five-blade razor led to an unpleasant experience—irritation, discomfort, and an unsatisfactory shave.
Determined to find a better solution, he delved into traditional wet shaving, researching extensively and experimenting with various products. As his interest grew, he was inspired to create his own shaving soap. The journey wasn’t easy; it required extensive research, experimentation, and continuous refinement.
With a meticulous approach, Dimitrios dedicated himself to perfecting high-quality shaving formulas, ensuring they delivered both performance and skincare benefits. His relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation ultimately led to the launch of HAGS Artisan Shaving Products.
