Embargo Blend was the first scent Historic Brands ever released. Fashioned from the accord of a warm Cuba breeze. Reminiscent of the local libations. This Shave Soap begins with dark chocolate, patchouli, vanilla, and bergamot. Then hues of cedarwood and burnt orange suspiciously overlap to usher in the perfect trace of black pepper. Finishing with a classic sweet tobacco and spiced rum. Handmade with beer and hops that contain skin softening amino acids, B vitamins to hold moisture in and help with skin's elasticity. This premium shave soap is highly effective and provides a slick, creamy lather, lots of cushion and a pleasant after feel.

About Their Aftershave:
This signature aftershave is a spirited barbers blend of cognac and sweet tobacco scents. It’s carefully barrel aged and with Limousine oak to infuse natural vanilla tannins, scents of carmel smoke and a honey brown colour. Our unique potassium alum formula that contains styptic and antiseptic properties helps to counter nicks and oily skin. Smell superb and enjoy the effective functionality of this traditional restorative aftershave.
Historic Brands Aftershave is made in small batches and aged in European Oak barrels. This is a large reason why they can only take on a very limited amount of stockists at a time. Stone Field Shaving Company is one of them!
Historic Brands put a lot of love and care into these products and the performance. By making functionality their first concern, they've created an after care range that promotes the restorative process of the upper most dermal layer.
Tannins pulled from the oak act as a surprisingly effective astringent, extremely useful to treat and counter the distress caused to skin from shaving. As an added bonus, the aging process allows the properties of the charred oak to be transformed into aromatic compounds. It also balances the scents and alcohol; offering a pleasant aroma that resembles vanilla, spice, smoke and other subtle floral notes. .
This is NOT a Parfum or Cologne, don’t be confused by the difference. This is Craft Aftershave and the first North American barrel aged formula that uses traditionally coopered, European Oak, barrels and that contains a unique infusion of Potassium Alum.
