Linda Janes is the artisan behind Purely Skinful Handmade Essentials. Linda began making her products in 2014 when she wanted to find better soap products compared to the commercial soap products that were available on the market.

Linda worked on perfecting her soap recipes and her processes- working with hot and cold process soap making techniques - ultimately choosing the cold process method as her preferred choice.

It was shortly after the success of her handmade body soaps that a friend asked her to create a shave soap based on her successful recipes.

Linda creates small batches of her soaps and they have included both Tallow and vegan bases. While most artisans will use beef tallow, She even renders the tallow herself! She also uses a soy wax for the stearic factor.

She has tested her shave soaps extensively and continues to test new formulas and new scents. Her shave soaps make excellent lather, provide great cushion and slickness and have an amazing post shave feel.
