Hawaiian Shaving Company- Kaimu Shave Soap Lemi Poni'ala
Slightly Dented Tins- but it's what's inside that counts. Each tin has a slight imperfection due to shipping.
Lemi Poni'ala is a lovely lemon and lavender scent. The scent is light off the puck but the citrus notes come alive as you lather. It's still a light refreshing scent that will surely brighten your day.
Kaimu soaps are named after the black sand beach on the Big Island of Hawaii that was destroyed by a lava flow from Kilauea volcano in 1990. This black shaving soap looks like the lava in the tin, but the soap lathers up white. Did you know that Kaimū means “Gathering at the sea” in Hawaiian? It was a popular beach famous for its black sand and abundant coconut trees.
Kaimu Shave soap is a vegan black soap which is rich with coconut oil, and activated charcoal made from coconut husks.
I am really excited to carry these shave soaps from the Hawaiian Shaving Company. In fact we are the first Canadian company to carry them!
I used to fly to Hawaii with my work and I really miss those trips. There's something magical about touching down on those islands and breathing in that island air. If you want to have a little piece of Hawaii, then take a look at this shave soap.
