This scent came about when a customer contacted Linda to see if she would be interested in loosely recreating one of his favorite scents from a shave soap that is no longer available. When he said the main scent notes were sandalwood and bay rum, she was on it!
@13:33 hrs is best described as a classic scent. The bay rum is herbaceous with no spice notes, and the sandalwood is slightly charred. A touch of amber adds warmth and depth to the scent.
Why such an odd name? Well, mainly because they couldn't think of a good name and were grasping at straws. Jokingly, she said, "13:33 Named for the time he messaged her that day." His reply was, "That's awesome."
Linda has been a soap maker for over 10 years. Her shaving soaps were developed over a period of about two years and involved extensive research and numerous failures. But, perseverance paid off and Linda now has tallow based shave soaps that her customers love to use.
